Sombr
At the age of 20, sombr has long since conquered the whole world with his music and his modern sound between indie rock and alt-pop. His hit single “back to friends” is currently number 1 in the Spotify Global Top 50 and is the most streamed song in the world with over 5 million streams per day.

The US-American already proved that sombr has the potential to become the biggest star of his generation with his songs “would've been you” and “do i ever cross your mind”, which benefited from the recent hype surrounding the singer and his smash hit and were pushed further into the spotlight with the song “undressed” in March 2025. Within less than three months, sombr multiplied his streaming numbers and generated more than 1 million streams on Spotify with his top 5 tracks. In June, sombr played a sold-out concert in Cologne on his The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour.

In February and March 2026, sombr will return to Germany to play in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Cologne and Zurich in his biggest venues to date.

Shane Boose hails from the Lower East Side of New York City, where he learned classical singing as a child and dreamed of a career as a musician from an early age. In the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown, the young musician used the isolation to teach himself how to produce, while the music served as a way for him to deal with the isolation. An interplay that quickly bore fruit and resulted in the first songs that the young musician produced in the style of a bedroom pop artist and released on his own from October 2021 under his stage name sombr. After several singles, the singer-songwriter ballad “caroline” brought him greater attention in 2021 and allowed the musician to go viral for the first time at the age of 16. Further singles followed and aroused the interest of the Warner Music Group, who signed him in 2023. The signing was followed by the debut EP “in another life”, after the release of which the single “would've been you” became the artist's next major hit at the end of 2023. Another hit followed in August 2024 with the song “do i ever cross your mind”, but this only hinted at what sombr would achieve with his hit single “back to friends” in December of that year, which took him into the charts internationally for the first time. In the meantime, sombr has developed from a soulful singer-songwriter with a DIY style into a musician whose indie pop anthems put even established pop stars in his shadow. Following the viral success of the poppy indie rock anthem “undressed”, sombr released another track, “we never dated”, at the end of June, hinting at a loosely announced major release by the artist. Within just a few weeks, sombr has become one of the most listened to musicians in the world with almost 50 million listeners and leaves no doubt that he will take the next step in his career in the summer of 2025. The only question is how big this step will be.
